Do you accept insurance?
Yes. NexGen Counseling & Consulting is currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas
- Aetna
- Baylor Scott & White Health Plan
If you're using one of the above insurance plans, your sessions may be covered in full or in part depending on your mental health benefits.
If you prefer, self-pay options are also available. Many clients choose this option for added flexibility and confidentiality.
Tip: If you're unsure of your coverage, contact your insurance provider directly and ask for your "outpatient mental health benefits."
Out-of-Network Clients:
If you have a different insurance carrier, you may be able to request reimbursement for services under your "out-of-network" benefits. Upon request, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
06
What type of appointments do you have available?
At this time, all sessions are provided virtually through a secure telehealth platform. Virtual therapy allows you to meet from the comfort and privacy of your own space while maintaining the same level of care and connection as an in-person session.
Telehealth sessions are ideal for busy schedules, college students living away from home, and parents seeking flexible options that fit into daily life. All sessions are conducted using HIPAA-compliant technology to ensure confidentiality and safety.
Virtual therapy, real connection - helping you Reflect • Reset • Rise, wherever you are.
07
Do you prescribe medication?
Although I have earned a doctoral degree, my clinical license allows me to practice as a psychotherapist, but does not include prescribing medication.
If medication is needed as part of your treatment, I can collaborate with your primary care provider, psychiatrist, or psychiatric nurse practitioner to ensure coordinated care and holistic support for your mental wellness.
Therapy and medication can work hand in hand - and I'm happy to help you find the right balance and resources for your needs.
